International Competition

Tat Chan Architect designed and managed the multi-million dollar Civic Center Proposal with over two million square feet of office space. It includes public plazas, parks, museums and exhibit areas, auditoriums and meeting areas, restaurant and dining facilities and parking spaces for motorcycles automobiles, buses and helicopter. The design solution, symbolic of the new millenium, is founded on traditional Chinese culture and architectural concepts. Aspects of symbolism based on cosmology and "feng-shui" are woven into the design as it is in the culture.
