OUTLINE : |
This $45 million, 21-gate terminal was constructed
over an existing terminal building. The planning and design
had to be detailed and properly phased in terms of construction
to allow for continuous operation during the construction process.
The overall design merged the area's heritage with references
toward the future. The building exterior consists of mostly
brick, steel, and glass. Arched entry vestibules and main interior
maple and cherry wall reflects prominent local building materials.
The hind of Shaker-style and modern materials are woven throughout
the building interior. |
